The recently opened M.A.S.T. is both a business and artistic venture by friends Mellow Dawn Lund, Alison May, Sofie Albertsen Gelb and Tasha Sabatino.
The four ladies are responsible for creating about 80 percent of the store's items, which reflect their personal artistic styles. The space itself is wide and cleverly designed to fit a nautical theme and offers easy access for customers to move about between the boutique and Tooley's Cafe, located next door.
The boutique, found in the Lost Barrio at 299 S. Park Ave., sells a wide variety of products inclusive of jewelry and furniture made by local and international artists.
M.A.S.T. is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and can be reached at 720-0299.
On February 12, the boutique features specially made Valentine's Day items and hosts a gallery opening for local artists Titus Castanza and Nick Georgiou from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
