The Tucson Pima Arts Council presented its Tucson Pima Arts & Business Awards, The Lumies, on Thursday, May 7 at the Temple of Music and Art.
The awards were created to honor "outstanding luminaries who have made significant contributions to the arts in our community."

Emerging Arts Organization, The Rogue Theatre; Established Arts Organization, Tohono Chul Park; Arts Volunteer, Frank M. Lopez; Arts Supporter, Ruth Baron; Arts Educator, Renee Blakeley; Arts Education Organization, The Symphony Women's Association; Business Partner, Ventana Medical Systems, Inc.; Individual Achievement/Emerging Artist, Louis David Valenzuela; Lifetime Achievement, Eva Zorilla Tessler.
