Le Petit Carnaval

Photography and Design - Eric Holm.

On Sunday, June 6, The Disposable Gallery presents a French festival featuring Tucson’s most sophisticated cultural entertainers for a special afternoon of dancing, drama, magic and music.

A variety of entertainers will be roaming the lobbies, and the Parasol Project will be performing their ‘Le Nickelodeon’, a live-action Nickelodeon with live music. Turkish Delights will be dazzling on the stage with swords, pythons and live musicians, along with Sarlot & Eyed Carnival of Illusion’s award winning Victorian inspired parlour magic show. Les Mademoiselles Ballet Magnifique will be performing ballet, and The Sketch Mates will be buzzing in and out with some slapstick sketch comedy. Green Light, a Haitian Voodoo-infused Afro-Cuban Jazz band will be closing out the event on stage.

The Master of Ceremonies, Trav S.D., is the author of ‘No Applause Just Throw Money: The Book That Made Vaudeville Famous!’ $10, children; $15 for students, seniors, active military; $18, adults. Proceeds benefit Arts Marketplace and the Fox Theatre Foundation.
