T.U.C.
A custom designed skateboard and clothing shop, T.U.C. began after brothers Israel and Jose Zavala decided to team up and open a shop showcasing the best Tucson has to offer.
T.U.C., an abbreviation for The Underestimated City, showcases local art, custom hats and t-shirts and will soon also offer a line of skateboards. The shop officially opened its doors at 115 E. Broadway on Dec 11, and aims to become a platform to illustrate the magnitude of talent within Tucson.
“We’re looked as the little brother of Phoenix,” said Israel Zavala, 24. “But we look at underestimation as a way to empower ourselves.”

The new store will open at 250 E. Congress St., sometime between Feb 1 and March 1, as the space is currently under construction.
