Arizona Onstage Productions presents “See Rock City & Other Destinations” November 3-20. The story is a contemporary musical about connections and missed opportunities at tourist destinations across America. The mixture of urban tales, set to original songs and dialog, features ten cast members and incorporates pop, rock and funk musical styles. The play, by Brad Alexander and Adam Mathias, was nominated for six Drama Desk awards and won the 2011 award for best book.

Following “See Rock City” each night are performances of “Devil Boys from Beyond,” a high camp spoof on 1950s low-budget sci-fi flicks written by Buddy Thomas and Kenneth Elliot.

Shows are at Temple of Music and Art’s intimate Cabaret space, 330 S. Scott Ave., Thursdays-Saturdays along with Sunday matinees. Visit ArizonaOnstage.org for details.
